What you'll do

• Communicate with clients and the veterinary team
• educate and support clients
• handle and restrain patients
• obtain vitals and histories
• perform venipuncture and place IV catheters
• administer medications
• prepare patients for procedures and surgery
• assist with surgery
• monitor anesthesia
• perform laboratory testing
• assist with radiography and diagnostics
• maintain medical records and follow protocols.
