• negotiate settlements or payment plans before legal action
• manage legal notices, debt-validation letters, and dispute-document requests
• coordinate with attorneys on files moving into litigation
• research debtor assets, employment, and contact information using skip-tracing tools
• document communications
• execute pre-suit collection strategies
• and track lawsuits for post-judgment remedies such as wage garnishments and bank levies.
