What you'll do

• Prepare detailed commercial construction estimates
• review architectural, structural, MEP, and civil plans and specifications
• perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material and labor costs
• solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids
• identify scope gaps and cost risks
• develop bid proposals
• maintain estimating records
• assist with value engineering
• participate in pre-bid meetings and site walks
• coordinate estimating-to-construction handoffs.
