Cannabis Extraction Technician

Job overview

The Cannabis Extraction Technician role is onsite in Glen Carbon, IL, with a Friday–Monday schedule from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Pay is $20.50–$22.50 per hour. Curaleaf produces cannabis products for medical and adult-use markets. This role supports safe, compliant extraction and refinement of cannabis concentrates. By operating and maintaining specialized equipment, preparing biomass, and documenting production, the technician helps the lab meet quality and production goals.

What you'll do

• Operate extraction and refinement equipment, including solventless systems, short path distillation, and rotary evaporators
• prepare biomass
• troubleshoot and maintain equipment
• follow SOPs and GMPs and document batch records
• handle compressed gases and solvents using PPE and safety protocols
• maintain a clean lab
• track inventory
• collaborate with the lab team and assist with packaging as needed.
