What you'll do

• Review exam indications and medical information
• perform infection prevention
• identify and explain procedures to patients and families
• acquire diagnostic images using ultrasound protocols
• review studies with physicians and obtain additional images as requested
• quantitatively assess echocardiographic data
• document observations and measurements in cardiology PACS and ensure studies are archived
• maintain equipment
• participate in research records, learner training, and quality improvement
• provide outreach clinic, weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as assigned.
