What you'll do

• Review and submit medical claims through the practice EHR system and clearinghouse
• monitor rejected claims and adjust for resubmission
• post carrier payments and denials
• research aging balances and claim status
• contact insurance carriers as needed
• coordinate patient billing statements and portal payments
• initiate required refunds and repayments
• serve as the practice contact for vision and medical claims
• support claim collection.
