Associate Attorney, Litigation

The Associate Attorney, Litigation role is primarily in-office in Irvine, CA; one hybrid day per week may be available after a six-month probationary period. Compensation is $170,000–$250,000 per year, depending on experience. The role supports an established litigation practice with partners, associates, and paralegals. The attorney manages active matters across litigation stages, from research and discovery through case strategy and trial preparation, contributing to the practice’s handling of client matters.

What you'll do

• Manage litigation calendars and case management conferences
• conduct legal research and factual investigation
• draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other documents
• draft and respond to written discovery
• manage document review and production
• take and defend depositions
• prepare witnesses
• handle expert witnesses and discovery
• conduct meet-and-confers
• develop case strategy
• prepare matters for trial and participate in trial work
• collaborate with legal colleagues, clients, experts, and co-counsel.
