The Community Resource Advocate II — Community Connect role is onsite in Hillsboro, OR, and pays $19.02–$20.92 per hour. The advocate provides participant-centered services, assesses household needs, determines eligibility, and makes referrals to housing programs. The role also supports walk-in services, documents client information, and explains available basic-needs, health, mental-health, and housing services; street outreach may be part of the work.

What you'll do

• Provide participant-centered in-person services at the Community Connect office
• conduct face-to-face and telephone assessments and screenings
• participate in rotating duties, including managing walk-ins and supporting team members
• potentially engage in street outreach
• determine eligibility and refer clients to Washington County housing programs
• enter client information and documentation into the database
• explain and encourage use of available services
• maintain an orderly workspace and protect confidentiality.
