Paint Prep Technician

Job overview

The Paint Prep Technician role is onsite in Delano, MN, and pays $22–$27 per hour. Aquatix by Landscape Structures designs, fabricates, and constructs water features and spray parks. The technician prepares products and components for painting while maintaining quality standards. The role supports the painting process through surface preparation, staging, inventory oversight, and inspection of refurbished materials.

What you'll do

• Prepare products through light bodywork, sanding, blocking, filing, and priming
• assist the Lead Painter
• place products on movable platforms
• move and stage painted products in the drying room
• oversee paint and prep material inventory
• maintain a clean, organized work area
• inspect refurbished materials and recommend improvements.
