Auto Glass Technician

The Auto Glass Technician is an onsite role based in Newport News, VA. Compensation is $23–$32 per hour, and this position supports the collision and glass repair operations at Glass America. The role exists to replace broken or pitted windshields and window glass in motor vehicles. The technician is responsible for utilizing proper tools and techniques to ensure efficient, timely, and quality installation service while maintaining high levels of quality control.

What you'll do

• Install auto glass in-shop or on a mobile basis
• utilize proper tools and techniques
• complete required paperwork
• maintain a safe driving record
• perform auto glass repairs
• load glass in trucks
• follow up with the Glass Manager on installation problems
• maintain quality control
• provide customer service
• ensure equipment is operating properly.
