Robotics Field Service Technician

Job overview

The Robotics Field Service Technician role is onsite in Maple Bluff, WI, with an hourly pay range of $25–$32. The role is part of Formic’s Fleet Operations Team, which supports uptime and operational performance across deployed robotic systems in manufacturing environments. The technician performs scheduled preventive maintenance and directed repairs, responds to service calls, and documents system performance and service work. This work helps restore production, support customer satisfaction, and improve long-term reliability across Formic’s robotics fleet.

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on robotic manufacturing cells and directed corrective maintenance and repairs
• respond to onsite service calls, troubleshoot using established steps, and escalate complex issues
• provide technical support to customer operators and maintenance teams
• log service activity, asset updates, and spare-part needs in CMMS
• monitor system performance and report anomalies
• document service work and follow-up actions
• flag recurring issues
• follow safety standards including LOTO
• support root-cause analysis sessions, audits, and continuous improvement as directed.
