Coating Line Operator, First Shift Paint

The Coating Line Operator, First Shift Paint position is onsite in Owatonna, MN, with pay of $18.50 per hour. Standard hours are Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Quanex is a manufacturing company serving markets including fenestration, cabinetry, solar, refrigeration, and outdoor products. The operator prepares parts for coating, removes finished parts, and moves and packages materials. The role also supports product quality and shop-order accuracy by checking products and verifying quantities and part identification while following safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Hang parts on fixtures in preparation for coating
• remove coated parts from fixtures and place them in required containers
• rotate among positions and equipment as instructed
• move materials
• check and test products to maintain quality and ISO standards
• verify quantities and part identification in shop orders
• follow safety procedures and methods to prevent injuries.
