Family Medicine Physician in Princeton, MN. This is an onsite position with flexible scheduling and a call frequency of 5-6 times a month. Fairview is seeking a physician to join their primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinic - Princeton. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care within a collaborative, team-based model focused on quality outcomes and population health management. The physician will examine patients, define diagnostic plans, and manage treatment.
What you'll do
- Examine patients, formulate differential diagnostic plans, define and order required diagnostic testing
- Provide preventative, chronic disease, and acute care depending on the need of the clinic site
- Prescribe and administer medications, perform routine vaccinations, and provide advice regarding personal health and hygiene
- Interpret examination findings and test results and implement treatment plans
- Refer patient to medical specialist or another practitioner when necessary
- Complete medical record and electronic order management (via in basket)
- Follow organization policies and procedures and protocols
- Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management
- Participates in utilization and quality tools and activities that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes or workflows
- Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards
- Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
What we're looking for
- Education
- MD or DO degree
- Experience
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency training program; BC/BE with the ABMS or AOA; Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice; Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota; Meet threshold criteria/qualification for Credentialing and Privileges; Board Certified in Family Medicine, or dual Board Certification in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
