What you'll do

• Ensure children’s safety, health and emotional well-being indoors and outdoors
• provide responsive caregiving, including diapering, feeding and comforting
• plan and implement weekly lesson plans aligned with Reggio Emilia, project-based learning and play-based exploration
• create flexible routines
• support sensory exploration, movement, language and social-emotional development
• observe and document development using ASQ and daily observations
• communicate progress with families and leadership
• use positive guidance
• collaborate with co-teachers and leadership
• complete annual training and follow institute and museum policies.

Why this role

Requires 5+ years of experience with infants and/or toddlers, a CDA credential or completion of Florida’s 45 DCF hours, and a degree in early childhood education, education, child development or a related field. Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification is required or must be obtained before the start date.
