Senior Salesforce IT Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)

Job overview

The Senior Salesforce IT Engineer (Contract-to-Hire) role is hybrid in Merrillville, IN, with onsite work Tuesday through Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday. Compensation is $65–$70 per hour. The engineer supports an enterprise Customer Contact Management transformation initiative. The role provides technical leadership across Salesforce solution delivery, integrations, testing, deployment, security, and operational readiness. It coordinates internal and vendor teams to deliver secure, integrated Salesforce capabilities and support adoption and ongoing operations.

What you'll do

• Oversee Salesforce solution delivery for the Customer Contact Management workstream
• coordinate design, configuration, customization, and integrations
• guide unit, integration, acceptance, regression, and performance testing
• support deployment, cutover, hypercare, and operational readiness
• validate security and access controls
• support DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and code scanning
• coordinate governance, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications
• support change management, user adoption, and system monitoring.
