Environmental Permitting Manager

The Environmental Permitting Manager role is hybrid, based in Pittsburgh, PA, with team members expected in the office at least three days a week. Compensation is not specified. The role supports Wade Trim’s Industrial Commercial Energy Team in environmental permitting and regulatory compliance. The manager provides technical and project leadership across energy and environmental programs, coordinating permitting, regulatory processes, client relationships, proposals, project delivery, and compliance to help clients advance infrastructure projects.

What you'll do

• Lead project and technical work
• oversee project setup, planning, scope, schedules, staffing, and budgets
• develop strategies and design approaches
• manage billing, client updates, QA/QC, closeout, and compliance
• prepare proposals and serve as proposal manager and primary client contact
• coordinate municipal approvals and environmental permitting
• represent clients in agency meetings
• manage subcontractors and negotiate regulatory conditions
• provide technical guidance to project teams.
