The Nurse Education Specialist, Surgical Services role is onsite in Cottonwood, AZ. Pay is $40.03–$60.17 per hour. The specialist assesses learning needs, develops and facilitates nursing education, validates competencies, and supports onboarding and staff development. The role also promotes evidence-based practice, safety and improvement initiatives, and preparation for regulatory and accreditation reviews.

What you'll do

• Serve as a nursing education consultant
• facilitate specialty education for nurse residents, interns, and nurses new to a specialty
• analyze educational needs and validate competencies
• develop training programs
• contribute to evidence-based practice standards
• implement education processes for safe and effective nursing practice
• evaluate practice against standards and regulations
• complete mandatory training and address age-specific needs.
