Quality Technician

Job overview

The Quality Technician works onsite in Suamico, WI, in a full-time manufacturing role. Pay is $23–$27 per hour, based on experience. RC Mowers designs and manufactures autonomous and remote-operated commercial mowing equipment. The technician inspects parts, machines, and shipments throughout production to verify quality and identify issues before equipment reaches customers. The role documents findings and works with suppliers and internal teams to correct problems and support improvements to manufacturing processes.

What you'll do

• Inspect finished machines and incoming parts against drawings, dimensions, and specifications
• use dial calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
• document and communicate quality issues
• visit suppliers as needed to review concerns and verify corrective actions
• audit outgoing shipments
• maintain inspection checklists, quality documents, equipment, and calibration records
• work with Purchasing on nonconforming materials
• support recurring-issue improvements and new processes with Engineering
• perform small quality repairs as found.
