What you'll do

• Review medical records and consult with medical staff to evaluate patient suitability for organ donation
• coordinate organ placement and allocation with transplant programs and surgeons
• coordinate and assist with surgical recovery and peri-operative management
• arrange transportation, ensure surgical packaging, and prepare lab specimens for shipment
• support donor families and conduct medical and social history interviews
• update donor information in the electronic medical record.
