The Certified Nursing Assistant — Emergency Department role is onsite at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. Compensation is up to $20 per hour plus health and welfare benefits. Decypher partners with the Defense Health Agency to provide services and support quality care for service members, veterans, and their families. The CNA provides direct inpatient medical and psychiatric support, including monitoring, personal care, assistance with procedures, documentation, and safety and infection-control practices. The role works with the healthcare team to support patient needs and may rotate among individual care, remote patient safety monitoring, and unit support assignments.

What you'll do

• Document patient care and status
• verify patient identifiers
• measure and record vital signs, height, weight, and intake and output
• observe and report changes
• assist with bathing, feeding, lifting, turning, ambulation, and hygiene
• assist with examinations and procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharges
• transport patients
• maintain a clean environment and follow infection-control procedures
• communicate with the healthcare team.

Why this role
