Computer Report Technician

The Computer Report Technician role is onsite in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Review NDT inspection data and field documentation
• prepare technical inspection reports
• document findings, defects, measurements, and follow-up recommendations
• incorporate notes, photographs, scans, drawings, and test data
• maintain inspection records and mechanical-integrity data
• support database functions and inspection protocols
• create and maintain 2D CAD drawings
• interpret P&IDs, PFDs, piping layouts, and isometric drawings
• perform drawing and report quality checks
• collaborate with technicians, inspectors, engineers, project managers, clients, and other personnel
• travel or accept field assignments when required.

Why this role

Requires an associate degree, technical degree, or certificate in drafting, CAD, engineering technology, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience; three to five years of piping-design or drafting experience; advanced AutoCAD and 2D drafting proficiency. Travel or field assignments may be required.
