What you'll do

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, stairways, and elevators
• make beds and replace linens
• sweep, mop, vacuum, disinfect, and spot-clean floors and carpets
• clean surfaces and furnishings
• empty trash and handle waste and biohazardous materials
• complete terminal and discharge cleaning with nursing staff
• clean isolation rooms according to infection-control procedures
• restock carts and store supplies
• follow safety procedures.
