Certified Nurse Midwife — Sexual and Reproductive Health

The Certified Nurse Midwife role is onsite in Hyattsville, MD, and/or Washington, DC, in a clinic/outpatient setting; compensation is $125,000–$150,000 per year. La Clínica del Pueblo is a community-based Federally Qualified Health Center focused on culturally responsive, integrated care and health equity. The midwife provides outpatient perinatal and routine gynecologic care as part of an interdisciplinary Sexual and Reproductive Health Care Team. The role contributes to whole-person care through clinical assessment and treatment, coordination with other services, team collaboration, and quality improvement; intrapartum management and deliveries are not part of the role.

What you'll do

• Provide early pregnancy assessment, prenatal and postpartum care, and acute outpatient perinatal visits
• conduct reproductive and sexual health exams, screening, treatment, and family-planning care
• perform limited bedside obstetric ultrasounds and LARC insertions and removals
• assess patients and develop treatment plans
• coordinate referrals and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• document care and participate in quality improvement.
