Job overview

The Director of Facilities role is onsite in Fairport, NY. Compensation is $80,000–$90,000 per year. At Lollypop Farm, the facilities team supports the organization’s animal welfare mission by maintaining safe, functional buildings, grounds, and equipment for staff, volunteers, visitors, clients, and animals. The director leads facilities operations, staff and volunteers, budgets, capital planning, maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance. This work keeps the campus and its systems reliable and aligned with organizational needs and long-term goals.

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and develop facilities staff and volunteers
• manage annual facilities and capital budgets
• coordinate facility operations with organizational departments
• maintain vendor and contractor relationships
• support improvement projects
• maintain capital renewal and campus master plans
• oversee preventive maintenance and repairs across buildings, animal enclosures, systems, and fleet
• ensure regulatory and safety compliance
• develop emergency preparedness plans
• oversee work-order tracking, procurement, inventory, department procedures, and performance reporting.
