What you'll do

• Develop roadway construction plans and plan sheets
• prepare plan and profile, typical sections, cross sections, signing and pavement marking, traffic control, and related components
• develop roadway geometry, alignments, profiles, corridors, and surfaces
• perform roadway modeling and grading using FDOT Civil 3D State Kit or Bentley OpenRoads Designer
• prepare plans to applicable FDOT standards
• interpret survey and engineering information
• coordinate with other disciplines
• review plans for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and compliance
• incorporate review comments
• maintain CAD/model files and project documentation.

Why this role

Requires 5+ years of roadway design and plan production experience. Proficiency with FDOT Civil 3D State Kit or Bentley OpenRoads Designer is required; FDOT project experience is preferred. Mentoring junior designers is preferred experience.
