Community Support Specialist

The Community Support Specialist position is hybrid in Manassas, VA, supporting work in Prince William County. Compensation is $28–$33 per hour. The role strengthens under-resourced nonprofits and public service organizations through technical assistance, organizational capacity building, and regional partnerships. It contributes to stronger operations and expanded community impact through planning, project coordination, funding development, and evaluation support.

What you'll do

• Conduct needs assessments and SWOT analyses
• facilitate planning sessions
• support program design and budget development
• coordinate project timelines, deliverables, work plans, and stakeholders
• research grant opportunities and support grant writing and funding plans
• develop logic models, evaluation plans, and data collection tools
• build and maintain regional partnerships
• represent People Inc. in collaborations and community initiatives.
