Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will manage engineering projects from conception, design, procurement, installation, project cost, and commissioning. What you'll do

• Assist in preparation and implementation of the capital budget
• Manage assigned projects including concept design and layouts
• Supervise detailing, research, and equipment specification
• Write specifications, contracts, and requisitions
• Solicit bids and make recommendations
• Supervise and coordinate installation and start-up
• Instruct personnel on operation and maintenance
• Review design calculations and drawings
• Provide design calculations and drawings
• Support local plant in technical matters
• Support environmental department with permit applications
• Write technical reports
• Maintain department files
• Implement regulations including OSHA, MSHA, UPC, UBC, NFPA, and NEC.
