Part-Time Caregiver Trainee

The Part-Time Caregiver Trainee role is onsite in Homestead, FL, with compensation of $15–$20.59 per hour. Redlands Christian Migrant Association is a nonprofit childcare and early education organization serving Florida communities. The trainee learns to support a safe, nurturing early childhood classroom and children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. The role also involves following classroom schedules and safety procedures and building engaged partnerships with families.

What you'll do

• Learn to support a warm, secure, and socially supportive environment for young children
• follow daily schedules and plans that support children’s development
• follow procedures for a safe and healthy classroom and outdoor environment
• learn to partner with families
• meet RCMA funding and Florida Department of Children and Families requirements. Lifting and holding children is necessary.
