Sales Support

Job overview

The Sales Support role is onsite in Madison, AL, and pays $17–$20 per hour. SEA Wire and Cable supplies military and commercial aerospace customers with wire and cable products and related service. The role provides administrative and order-process support to the sales department, helping address customer needs and keep orders, quotations, inventory, and shipments moving accurately. It contributes to customer service by coordinating with sales, quality, purchasing, shipping, receiving, and other teams to resolve order and supplier issues.

What you'll do

• Handle overflow customer calls
• assist with quotation generation and product sourcing
• process orders, confirmations, filing, and follow-up
• support resolution of shipment, rejection, problem-order, back-order, and incomplete-order issues
• process spot buys and purchase-order changes
• review consignment and VMI inventory levels
• coordinate replenishment, shipment updates, supplier expedites, quality documentation, and performance metrics.
