Patient Observation Assistant

The Patient Observation Assistant role is onsite at INOVA Loudoun in Leesburg, VA. The fixed pay rate is $18.36 per hour. What you'll do

• Visually and audibly monitor assigned patients
• complete observation reports
• remain at the bedside unless relieved
• redirect at-risk behavior
• seek help and escalate medical distress or safety concerns
• report hazards
• assist with calming or reorienting patients
• keep rooms safe and orderly
• accompany patients to diagnostic testing
• support meal setup, basic positioning, and safe wheelchair rides or ambulation
• participate in shift handoffs.
