Fire Sprinkler Inspector and Service Technician

The Fire Sprinkler Inspector and Service Technician role is onsite in Austin, TX, servicing surrounding areas. Compensation is not specified. The technician inspects, tests, and maintains water-based fire protection systems, identifies deficiencies, completes repairs, and documents findings. The role also communicates system status and code requirements to clients and participates in scheduled emergency service coverage.

What you'll do

• Inspect, test, and maintain wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pump systems under NFPA 25 and local AHJ guidelines
• tag systems under State Fire Marshal regulations
• diagnose deficiencies and perform repairs or upgrades
• conduct valve, flow, tamper switch, and fire pump tests
• complete digital reports, deficiency logs, and work orders
• communicate with clients, site managers, and fire marshals
• participate in an on-call rotation.

Why this role
