The Registered Nurse (RN) role is onsite in Fort Wayne, IN. Compensation is $35.70–$39.42 per hour. The nurse supports resident care on an assigned unit or wing at Majestic Care of Fort Wayne, whose mission is to provide excellent healthcare to those served. The RN provides skilled nursing services, assesses and documents residents' conditions, implements physician orders, administers medications and treatments, and coordinates care with other departments. The role also supervises certified nursing assistants and contributes to individualized care planning and staff training.

What you'll do

• Lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans
• assess and document residents' conditions and nursing needs
• implement physician orders
• administer medications, start IVs, and perform and document treatments
• participate in personnel orientation and in-service training
• assist physicians with tests and procedures within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act
• report and record observations and reactions
• coordinate care for therapy and procedures
• assist with emergency measures.
