The Mixer Master / Batching Technician is an onsite, full-time role in Middlesex, NC. Pay is $19.00 per hour, with a stated second-shift differential bringing the rate to $20.14 per hour worked. Available crews run Sunday–Thursday or Monday–Friday, with shifts of 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m., 3 p.m.–11:30 p.m., or 11 p.m.–7:30 a.m. The role supports FirstWave food and beverage production, making products such as fruit and vegetable blends, smoothies, and coffee beverages. The technician follows formulas and production controls to turn ingredients into consistent finished batches. Accurate measurements, monitoring, sampling, documentation, sanitation, and food-safety practices help protect product quality and keep production running safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor mixers, pumps, conveyors, and other production equipment
• follow batch tickets and formulas to measure, weigh, and add ingredients
• monitor temperatures, processing times, and ingredient usage
• collect samples and perform quality checks
• record lot numbers, ingredients, processing information, and test results
• prepare labels and batch documentation
• assist with batching, processing, quality assurance monitoring, and troubleshooting
• complete CIP, COP, and SIP activities
• support allergen controls
• maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• follow GMP, SQF, food-safety, OSHA, and company safety procedures, including LOTO when required
• communicate production and equipment issues
• support continuous improvement.
