Machine Operator

The Machine Operator role is an onsite, full-time position in Mitchellville, IA. The target pay rate is $19 per hour. The position supports food production at a food manufacturing and distribution company that supplies products to retail and food-service customers. The role exists to keep production machinery operating safely and efficiently while supporting product quality. The operator monitors and adjusts equipment, performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting, reports malfunctions, follows safety procedures, and works with production teammates to address workflow challenges.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor mixers, fillers, and packaging machines
• clean, inspect, troubleshoot, and make minor adjustments to equipment
• report malfunctions to supervisors
• follow safety protocols
• and collaborate with production team members. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Friday overtime is mandatory when scheduled. The role requires passing a background check and drug screen and may involve standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
