Vice President, Biostatistics

The Vice President, Biostatistics role may be hybrid from the Waltham, MA office or remote from the East Coast. The salary range is $323,000–$357,000 per year. Crescent Biopharma is developing oncology therapies, including a lead PD-1 x VEGF bispecific antibody program. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the vice president sets biostatistics strategy and leads statistical support across the pipeline from IND through registration and BLA submission. The role builds the team and establishes the statistical framework for clinical development and regulatory readiness.

What you'll do

• Define biostatistics strategy aligned with oncology clinical development
• lead statistical design and execution of clinical trials
• build team processes, SOPs, and governance
• guide protocols, sample-size calculations, interim analyses, randomization, and study design
• ensure regulatory readiness and standards compliance
• represent biostatistics in cross-functional work
• lead health-authority interactions
• oversee CRO and vendor strategy
• recruit and retain the internal team.
