Licensed Psychiatric Technician – Corrections

The Licensed Psychiatric Technician – Corrections role is onsite in Chowchilla, CA, with pay of $45–$47 per hour. What you'll do

• Administer prescribed psychiatric and medical medications and monitor effects
• observe and document mental and physical status
• obtain vital signs and assist with basic nursing procedures within LPT scope
• report significant changes
• provide crisis intervention, behavioral support, suicide-prevention monitoring, and verbal de-escalation
• assist with treatment plans
• maintain electronic health records
• collaborate with clinical and custody staff
• respond to emergencies
• maintain medication security and inventory
• follow HIPAA, infection-control, patient-safety, and correctional security requirements.
