Assistant Teacher

The assistant supports Lead Teachers with classroom operations and children’s daily care, development, and learning. The role helps maintain a safe, welcoming classroom, implement age-appropriate activities, document children’s routines and progress, and follow center procedures and licensing guidelines.

What you'll do

• Support Lead Teachers in daily classroom operations
• attend to children’s emotional, physical, and developmental needs
• assist with feeding, diapering, rest times, and individualized care
• help implement age-appropriate lesson plans and play-based activities
• record meals, diapering, naps, milestones, activities, and incidents
• follow safety, licensing, and center procedures
• maintain a clean and organized classroom.
