What you'll do

• Listen to customers’ descriptions of vehicle symptoms, clarify concerns, inspect vehicles, take test drives, and review maintenance records and service schedules
• verify warranty and service-contract coverage
• develop estimates for materials, supplies, labor, and customer payments
• prepare repair orders and enter them into the service database
• obtain approval signatures
• explain estimates and expected vehicle return
• answer questions, arrange towing or temporary transportation, and maintain customer and automotive records
• participate in learning opportunities and perform other duties as assigned.
