Prior Authorization Specialist — Billing

What you'll do

• Coordinate pre-certification, authorization, and referral processes
• communicate with insurers, review organizations, clinical contacts, providers, staff, and patients
• facilitate peer-to-peer reviews for escalated encounters
• investigate medical benefits and manage authorizations for botulinum toxin procedures
• monitor coverage changes, specialty pharmacy orders, and ordering spreadsheets
• introduce patients to assistance programs.
