The Steel Plate Estimator – Quoting and Pricing role is onsite in Toledo, OH. Starting pay is $21.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience. Precision Steel Services has supplied steel across the Midwest since 1974, and estimators help the company win business through accurate, timely quotes. The estimator reviews customer requests, prints, and specifications, verifies quote details, and builds pricing that accounts for material, markup, processing, waste, and lead times. The role works with Account Management, the data team, and the shop to ensure quotes reflect deliverable capabilities and support customer orders.

What you'll do

• Review customer requests, emails, prints, and specifications
• verify dimensions, grades, quantities, and special requirements
• build and check pricing in pricing software
• account for stock utilization, remnant, waste, and processing costs
• route or escalate quotes as needed
• document assumptions and lead times
• communicate urgent timing and quote details to Account Management.

Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; fully onsite with no remote or hybrid option. Requires at least one year of estimating, pricing, or project management experience, two years of blueprint-reading experience, and one year of entry-level CAD experience.
