What you'll do

• Program and machine parts according to blueprints, drawings, or layouts
• set up, operate, and disassemble lathes, mills, and grinding machines
• verify workpiece dimensions and tolerances
• align and adjust tools and workpieces
• complete production and inspection documentation
• clean and deburr parts and work areas
• perform basic preventive maintenance and diagnose machine-tool issues.
