Caregiver / Care Partner

Job overview

The Caregiver / Care Partner role is onsite in Des Plaines, IL, with assignments discussed upon hire. Compensation is $16–$21 per hour. The caregiver assists clients who are elderly, injured, disabled, or recovering from illness with daily care and household needs, while supporting their dignity, independence, safety, and social engagement. The role also observes and documents client well-being and reports significant changes to a supervisor.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility according to care plans
• support meal preparation and nutrition
• observe and document client conditions and activities
• encourage social participation
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• respond to emergencies and client requests according to established protocols.
