CNC Machinist — Various Shifts

Job overview

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Charlotte, NC, and pays $33–$40 per hour. Siemens Energy’s Gas Services division works on low-emission power generation, service, and decarbonization. The machinist plans and produces complex fixtures, tooling, and components using CNC and conventional equipment. The work supports manufacturing operations for steam turbines, large generators, gas turbines, and combustion components.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC equipment for machining parts and components
• operate CNC vertical boring mills, lathes, and horizontal boring mills
• use tables and fixtures
• plan, lay out, manufacture, modify, repair, and assemble fixtures and machine tools
• interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
