Housing Specialist — Family Shelter

What you'll do

• Build working relationships with landlords and management companies
• liaise with the DHS Housing Placement Unit
• monitor compliance with housing laws, building codes, and lease agreements
• coordinate with case management to identify housing-ready clients
• resolve landlord-related conflicts
• maintain fair housing standards and a database of available housing
• identify new housing opportunities
• prepare reports and housing packages
• submit packages through online portals
• inform case management staff about unit readiness and client housing issues.
