The Preschool Teacher Assistant role is onsite in Jericho, VT, with pay of $21.00–$24.00 per hour. The Children's Institute at Jericho focuses on fostering children’s intellectual and emotional growth through a safe, enriched learning environment. This assistant supports the Lead Teacher and daily classroom operations in a Montessori and nature-based setting. The role helps children learn, play, and grow by supporting activities, supervision, outdoor exploration, and social-emotional development.

What you'll do

• Support classroom routines and Montessori learning experiences
• supervise and engage children
• participate in outdoor and nature-based activities
• create a weekly snack menu and prepare and serve daily snacks
• encourage independence and practical life skills
• maintain an organized classroom
• support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs
• build relationships with children, families, and educators
• collaborate with the teaching team.
