The Part-Time Cook — Cafe role is onsite in Provo, UT, with pay of $15 per hour. The cook works in the Rocky Mountain Café at The Heritage Community, a residential treatment program for adolescents ages 13–18. The role helps prepare and serve meals for students and employees, supporting the kitchen’s daily operations and the dietary needs of the community. Responsibilities include meal preparation, special diets, food safety, and maintaining organized supplies and equipment.

What you'll do

• Set up workstations and prepare, cook, and portion breakfast and lunch entrees and side dishes
• prepare desserts, salad bar selections, and dressings as needed
• comply with food safety requirements and maintain a sanitized, orderly kitchen
• memorize and prepare special diet meals as coordinated by the Dietitian and Nutrition Manager
• cook using various methods and equipment
• store food, stock items, equipment, and utensils properly
• perform other duties assigned by the Nutrition Manager.
