Kids Minister

The Kids Minister role is onsite in Garland, TX, at FiveStone Community Church. Compensation is $50,000–$60,000 per year. The church’s mission is to make disciples who connect with God and others, grow to be more like Jesus, and serve locally and globally. The Kids Minister provides spiritual leadership and oversight for children’s ministries from birth through elementary school. The role equips parents as primary spiritual leaders at home, develops family discipleship strategies, leads ministry environments and volunteers, and helps children know, love, and follow Jesus.

What you'll do

• Create a family discipleship strategy
• equip and encourage parents with resources, training, and relational support
• develop faith pathways for families
• oversee children’s ministry environments from birth through elementary
• guide teaching and curriculum
• recruit, train, coach, and care for volunteers
• communicate with families
• plan family events and classes
• manage ministry budgets, schedules, and policies
• support safety practices and church-wide initiatives.

Why this role
