The Registered Nurse (RN), Pre-Operative/PACU, PRN role is onsite in Walker, MI, with PRN work of 1–2 days per week during the center’s Monday–Thursday operating hours of 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; compensation is not specified. The role supports the Pre-Op/PACU department at Walker Surgical Center. The nurse assesses, plans, delivers, evaluates, and documents patient care in accordance with applicable standards and policies. The position contributes to safe, coordinated perioperative care and maintains an orderly care environment while supervising or assisting personnel in the operating room as needed.

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care
• supervise and direct patient care in an operating room
• ensure accepted techniques and practices are followed
• coordinate communication and continuity of care
• report unusual occurrences and document them
• communicate with patients, families, physicians, and staff
• maintain accurate medical records
• respond to emergencies
• participate in training, staff meetings, and quality programs
• assist with training new staff when needed
• maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
