Housekeeping Assistant

The Housekeeping Assistant role is onsite in Durham, NC, with pay of $14.00–$15.50 per hour. The position supports a rehabilitation center’s goal of creating a place where residents thrive. Through routine cleaning, infection-prevention practices, and cooperation with other departments, the assistant supports resident comfort and facility operations.

What you'll do

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, dining areas, hallways, and other facility spaces
• dust and clean surfaces and fixtures
• empty trash and replenish supplies
• sweep, mop, buff, and clean floors and carpets
• maintain housekeeping equipment and storage areas
• follow infection-prevention, safety, and emergency procedures
• report maintenance or safety concerns
• respect resident privacy, dignity, rights, and property.
