The Cook works onsite in Bellflower, CA, with a Monday–Friday and weekend schedule. Shifts are 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. and sometimes 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Pay is $20 per hour. The cook supports meal service for patients and staff at LA Community Hospital at Bellflower. What you'll do

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and dietary requirements
• assist with plating and presentation
• label and store food properly
• inventory food items as assigned
• record food temperatures, production, waste, and usage
• maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
• communicate food quality, availability, equipment, customer, and staffing issues
• participate in team meetings and promote safety.
